“It’s a defining four days ahead for my old club” Sutton predicts Glasgow Derby joy

Former Celtic star, Chris Sutton outlined his thoughts regarding today’s Glasgow Derby and revealed his prediction for today’s big game ar Paradise. Sutton is now writing in The Daily Mail.

Firstly, the former Hoops hero compares the upcoming match to the English clash between Liverpool against Manchester City. However, he compares the English club’s style of play to the Glaswegian sides and not the atmosphere that will be generated. In fact, he believes the first Glasgow Derby of the season will be one for the history books as he assesses…

“Celtic won’t fear (the)Rangers, and (the)Rangers won’t fear Celtic, and that makes for one almighty Old Firm (you’re better than that, Chris). This clash represents a chance to strike a blow to your title rival and I played in enough of these games to know the importance of that,” the former Celtic striker reckons.

“Celtic will look to win their way. It’s a defining four days ahead for my old club — (the)Rangers today and then Real Madrid on Tuesday, both at Celtic Park. The atmosphere there can rival any ground in the world, so sit back and enjoy what I expect to be an Old Firm (sic) to remember.”

Sutton finishes with his prediction for the opening Glasgow Derby of the season, believing Celtic will earn the victory and take all 3 points from the fixture.  With confidence oozing from both sides, the Celtic legend believes this Saturday’s clash will be a big game for both sides, and won’t be one we will be forgetting anytime soon.

“There will be goals, and with their home advantage, Celtic will nick it,” Sutton reckons.
