Celtic v Rangers: team news, KO time and where to watch

Celtic face Rangers this afternoon in the first Glasgow Derby of the season. The Scottish Champions are two points clear of the challengers from Govan.

Ange Postecoglou has bought well in the transfer window and Celtic are looking slick and lethal in attack. It’s set up for a stunning spectacle in Glasgow’s East End.

Team News

Ange made nine changes in Dingwall but you’d expect another nine to be made today with the bulk of the first team stars returning. Joe Hart was rested but the Englishman will start between the sticks.

At the back, we’d imagine that the defence will comprise of Josip Juranovic, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt and Greg Taylor.

The midfield will likely be made up Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley. The manager will have been impressed with Aaron Mooy and David Turnbull in the Highlands but the trio that started at Tannadice will be hard to displace.

In attack, we’d expect the same three that put Dundee United to the sword to start. Kyogo, Liel Abada and Jota.

This team still leaves Celtic with strength on the bench, including Sead Haksabanovic, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Daizen Maeda.

Expected XI: Hart; Taylor, Starfelt, CCV, Juranovic; McGregor, Hatate, O’Riley; Jota, Kyogo, Abada.

Kick Off Time

The game kicks off at 12:30pm.

Where to Watch

The game will be played out in front of a capacity crowd at Paradise. However, those without a ticket will be able to watch the game on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football with coverage beginning at 11:30am.

Those that subscribe to Celtic TV will be able to watch the game, provided they are outside Britain and Ireland.

This is it Bhoys, this is war. Come on Celtic.
