The Scotland international has given everyone a timely reminder of his qualities in that inverted full-back role and nobody has been able to play that feature in the team anywhere near as well as Greg has these past few years.

Started under Ange Postecoglou when he took over from Neil Lennon, Taylor’s use on the ball as an extra midfielder has been a crucial element of breaking down those rigid and frugal defences in the Scottish Premiership for several seasons now.

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
