Maeda and Ideguchi to formally sign after the medical checks are cleared, with press conferences to be held in the near future (very vague language that could mean tomorrow or next week).

It is now a countdown for the pair to join with the manager keen to get his business done as soon as possible. Celtic are short in most positions at the moment and it would be good to have the players in place as soon as possible.
Celtic are in major need of reinforcements having played he game against St Johnstone with sixteen players unavailable, whether through injury or COVID-19. Kyogo has been exceptional since arriving from the J-League and Celtic are looking to plunder the Japanese market with the manager looking to exploit his knowledge of the league.
