Since 2010, over 11,000 kids have passed through Parkhead’s gates due to the Kano Foundation. The charity has endured a difficult year without being able to fundraise in the traditional method. However, through the generosity of the Celtic support and various fundraising campaigns, they have been able to raise enough funds to secure tickets for the children next season.
On Good Friday (this Friday 2 April), The Kano Foundation are having a music and quiz night to celebrate the end of their 5k for Kano challenge. As part of that effort, they have been running or walking 5km during every day of Lent, in order to raise money for their projects. To celebrate the last few days of this initiative, the Kano are inviting all Celtic fans along “To have a few beers, join in the quiz and listen to some songs from Conor Kelly.”
Entry costs £5 and will give you a chance to win their Celtic-themed quiz, where the victor takes home half of the prize pot.
