Jota return to Celtic – Nice thought but not happening

Jota return to Celtic would be nice, but it’s virtually no chance of happening. Total fabrication by Daily Record yet again…

Jota, our former Superstar from Portugal has been linked with a loan move back to Celtic this summer.

However don’t get your hopes up as it was the Daily Record that reported on it, with not so much facts, but the usual tactic of making it up as they go along.

Jota has been struggling for game time since his £25 million move to the Gulf state, which is a shame as he’s a superb player, one who is far too talented to be wasted not playing in Saudi Arabia.

Jota was a cracking player for Celtic, an iconic one. A real crowd pleaser who took our club to his heart. A player who will be fondly remembered and one we would have back in heartbeat, but unfortunately due to finances and red tape it won’t be happening. Not at this moment in time anyway.

So do yourselves a favour and ignore fabricated stories from the likes of the Daily Record who are only publishing such nonsense for clicks. Jota returning to Celtic would be sensational news for the club and the supporters, but unfortunately it’s not going to be happening any time soon.

An ordinary everyday Celtic supporters hailing and still residing in Govan in the shadows of the enemy. I’m a season ticket holder. I Witnessed my first Celtic game in 1988 and have attended when I can ever since. Growing up in the 90s I witnessed Celtic at their lowest, and now appreciate the historic success we enjoy today. I enjoy writing about this wonderful football club and hopefully will continue to do so. I’ve always been a keen writer and initially started this a hobby. My ambition is to one day become as good an author as my fellow Celtic Star colleagues.
