Jullien’s social media update hints at Tom Rogic injury boost

Christopher Jullien has taken to social media ahead of this weekend’s Glasgow Derby; however, there is one thing that is noticeable from the picture – a smiling Tom Rogic making his way onto the training pitch at Lennoxtown.

The playmaker started the 4-0 win over Ross County but he limped off in the first half with Matt O’Riley replacing him. Rogic was on the end of a lunging tackle from Kayne Ramsay, which resulted in a straight red card from Don Robertson. Rogic didn’t go away on International Duty with Australia meaning that he can work back to fitness.

The 29-year-old has been in excellent form under Ange Postecoglou. His compatriot’s arrival in Glasgow’s East End has resulted in a resurgence of Rogic. Both Rogic and his manager will be hoping that the player is fully fit to play against Rangers on Sunday. The midfielder missed the game in February as he was away with the Socceroos but he will be hoping to make up for lost time as Postecoglou’s side travel to Ibrox.
