Rangers v Celtic – Alfredo Morelos appears to be out of Sunday’s clash

Celtic look set to face Rangers without Alfredo Morelos this Sunday. Rangers’ talisman was pictured earlier today in crutches headed for London with the Colombian said to be visiting a specialist. As a result, it could mean that Giovanni Van Bronkhorst will be without the striker for the game this weekend.

Morelos left Rangers to link up with the International camp with Colombia but a thigh injury has ruled him out of their games. This means that Morelos is a doubt for the game against Ange Postecoglou’s side on Sunday. The 25-year-old has returned to Glasgow in order to begin his rehab with a view to making the game but images have surfaced on social media to suggest that the player was flying from Glasgow.

Ange Postecoglou will likely be unmoved by the rumours surrounding Rangers as he focuses on his own team. Celtic are bolstered by the return of players like David Turnbull, Kyogo and Tom Rogic that will hopefully give him a full complement of players to pick his team from.
