Karamoko Dembele Offers Injury Update

Celtic’s teenage sensation Karamoko Dembele earned superstar status before he had even reached the development team. Top clubs around Europe have been reported to be tracking the youngster and videos of him dribbling past multiple players in youth football have gone viral online.

There have been high hopes that he could break into the first team and excel at Paradise. Though Karamoko has been given a handful of senior appearances, he is yet to feature on a regular basis.

Ange Postecoglou’s arrival saw Dembele get a lot of game time during pre-season, until a horrendous tackle against Bristol City ruled him out through injury.

Celtic have been short of options in the wide areas at times, thus there has been some anxiety surrounding the whereabouts of Karamoko. However, the player has taken to Instagram to deliver a disappointing update to fans. Indeed, he revealed that he has suffered some setbacks with the healing process of an ankle fracture and has had to undergo surgery as a result.

Hopefully he will be back on the field soon and able to make a meaningful breakthrough in the near future.
