Kristoffer Ajer Replaces Agent With New Dutch Firm

Kristoffer Ajer has continuously been linked with a move away from Celtic Park recently, thanks to his agent Tore Pedersen.

Pedersen has been no friend of Celtic with his comments concerning many clients and his Ajer exit talk of late had upset many supporters. Now the Norwegian has left Pedersen and joined a Dutch agency, named SEG.

SEG currently provide their services for big names such as Memphis Depay, whilst they previously represented Robin Van Persie during his playing career.

Tore Pedersen spoke of the pair parting. He told the Daily Record: “My contract with Kris expired in May. Why wasn’t it renewed? Kris must answer about his choice, if he wants to. Did I want to renew? Yes of course. Kris is a brilliant guy, and a very good central defender. I have followed his career since he was 15 years old. I wish him all the best in the future.”

Meanwhile, Ajer uploaded a welcome video by SEG, confirming the announcement, on Instagram. There has been a remarkable number of clubs linked with the 22 year old Norwegian including Leicester City, AC Milan and both Atletico and Real Madrid.
