Last Christmas Video – Festive Music starts in Budapest

There’s still around fifty days to go before Christmas but that’s not too soon for a wee festive tune is it? Not for the Celtic Supporters in Budapest ahead of this evening’s Europa League match against Ferencvaros.

And there’s a double tribute in this one, to the original 1980s songwriters at Wham – a wee nod to Celtic’s George Michael lookalike Jota and of course in the lyrics, in a space previously reserved for Brendan Rodgers, the mention this time around goes to Postecoglou, the Celtic manager who has the full support of the Celtic Support and has had that since day one despite any counter narratives that the hacks tried to manufacture.

There are a few hundred Celtic Fans in the Hungarian capital city – including Liam Kelly from The Celtic Star – and as usual they are in good voice and good spirits (in more ways than one) as they make friends with the locals who will remember the time Celtic Fans weren’t allowed into the game but took over their city anyway!

Enjoy Last Christmas…the first festive song of Christmas 2021, courtesy of the away support in Budapest…
