Leicester Among A Number Of Clubs Tracking Josip Juranovic, According to Renowned Transfer Guru

Josip Juranovic has been in outstanding form of late. The Croatian defender has excelled when asked to play as a left back or right winger, as well as in his favoured right back position. Signing for less than £3m from Legia Warsaw last summer, he was an absolute steal for Celtic but the Hoops may struggle to retain his services next season.

That’s according to renowned transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, who said in The Here We Go Podcast today:

“Juranovic is a very interesting name to keep an eye on. Leicester, but not only Leicester, have been looking at the right back playing for Celtic. His price will be around 10, 12, 15 million pounds.

“This boy is doing great with Celtic, he’s performing a top level; one of the most interesting right backs in the market and I have the feeling that in the summer he has chances to move.

“I’m told that many clubs are exploring this opportunity. Keep an eye on Juranovic.”

Hopefully Celtic can keep hold of the player for a while longer. Indeed, Ange Postecoglou has only just conducted a massive rebuild so it would be nice for Celtic to enjoy the fruits of their scouting on the park for another campaign before cashing in.

That said, Fabrizio Romano is an incredibly reliable source. He is Sky Sports’ go to man for transfer news and has built up a reputation as one of the most important football journalists on the planet.
