Liam Burt back to training at Lennoxtown despite exit rumours

LIAM BURT has been the subject of a huge amount of speculation in the last few days, claiming that the youngster would be leaving the club after just a season. The ‘news’ led by the usual media outlets claiming that Burt’s time in Glasgow’s East End was at an end. Burt signed from Rangers last year after making 3 first team appearances but is yet to make his debut for Celtic.

However, Celtic super fan @paulthetim has been adamant that the midfielder was still a Celtic player despite these rumours and he was eventually rewarded for his support of Burt when the youngster posted a photo of Lennoxtown from his car with the caption ‘Long time no seen’.

The Scottish Sun claimed that the 21-year-old Scottish youth internationalist’s future was a way from Celtic Park and that he had not done enough to earn another year with the Scottish Champions. However, it would appear that Burt will remain at the club, quashing the speculation from the Sun and other media outlets claiming that he would be leaving the club.

Unfortunately for the Rangers supporters that were revelling in Burt’s ‘departure’ it would appear that Burt will be at Celtic for 10IAR – much to their dismay.
