Celtic to partially reopen ticket office ahead of Season Ticket deadline

CELTIC have announced that the ticket office booking lines will reopen ahead of the Season Ticket deadline on June 30. The ticket office for the Scottish Champions have been working remotely due to Coronavirus; however, as Nicola Sturgeon is expected to ease restrictions next week, the club have confirmed that the ticket office will partially reopen.

In a statement released today, the 9IAR Champions thanked the supporters that had already committed ahead of the next season and confirmed that they would be increasing the ways in which supporters could renew ahead of the deadline.

“Thank you to the thousands of Season Ticket holders who have renewed for the 2020/21 campaign. We know what a huge commitment this is, and the faith you have put in the club will not be underestimated as we plan for the season ahead.

“Due to the high demand from supporters looking to renew, we are pleased to announce that the booking lines will re-open from Monday, June 15 until the deadline at 5pm on Tuesday, June 30, to help us deal with the high number of renewals.”

The club have faced a backlash for refusing to discount tickets ahead of a start behind closed doors; albeit, with recent developments regarding Coronavirus, we may look to be back at Celtic Park sooner than anticipated as the virus continues to decline.

Celtic are on the verge of a history making season, potentially surpassing the record set by Jock Stein in 1974 and in order to do that, the club need to retain key players and strengthen by signing guys like Fraser Forster and Moi Elyounoussi.

The Scottish Cup semi-finals from last season have still to be played at Hampden. Celtic will face Aberdeen while in the other semi, the two Edinburgh sides Hibs and Hearts (who knocked out the Rangers) will play. The final is expected to follow shortly afterwards and the three games will all happen this year according to the most recent statements from the Scottish FA.
