Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that central defender Liam Scales will miss tomorrow’s game against St Johnstone. The Irish defender was called up for his country but will likely be unavailable due to picking up a knock at training.
Speaking at the media conference ahead of the Cinch Premiership meeting at Celtic Park, Rodgers praised Scales but said that the knock will mean he won’t line up against the visitors from Perth.
🍀 "Everything about him has been great since he came into the team…"

Cameron Carter-Vickers is back after missing last weekend’s game with Livingston and will likely line up with Stephen Welsh, with Gustaf Lagerbielke on the bench. You’d imagine that the Swedish defender would fancy a crack at some game time, especially with the lack of depth in the position at the moment.
Reo Hatate was back training, too. Although the game might have come too soon for the Japanese midfielder. Luis Palma is also out injured with a calf tear.
