Liel Abada drops massive hint ahead of Glasgow Derby

Celtic star Liel Abada has posted a cryptic social media hint that he could make his return to action against Rangers tomorrow. The 22-year-old has been injured since picking up a tear on his thigh during a training exercise while on international duty.

Taking to Instagram, Abada dropped a massive hint that he would be involved in the second derby match of the season.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed that Abada and Reo Hatate were available for selection after stepping up their rehab from injury.

Abada has played Rangers ten times since arriving in Scotland in the summer of 2021. In that time, Abada has scored three times and assisted on one occasion. The winger has a habit of appearing at the right moment and scoring, which explains his 50 goal contributions (29 goals and 21 assists) in 106 appearances.

Celtic will likely be able to call upon both Hatate and Abada; however, Cameron Carter-Vickers is unavailable after a hamstring injury picked up against Dundee ruled him out. Celtic beat Rangers back in September without the trio and they will have to do it without the USA Internationalist.
