Liel Abada trains ahead of RB Leipzig Champions League trip

Celtic are in Germany for tomorrow night’s crucial Champions League fixture against RB Leipzig. The Scottish Champions face the Bundesliga outfit on Matchday Three of Europe’s top competition as the teams meet in the first of the doubleheader that will likely determine whether either team is playing European football beyond Christmas.

There has been some suggestion that the player will miss out the game tomorrow night through the Jewish celebration of Yom Kippur. Ange decided to let the player make the decision to exercise his right to observe one of the most important events in the religious calendar.

In the footage that Celtic released earlier today, prior to their flight to Germany, Abada can be seen training with his teammates. The 21-year-old is not with the team having remained in Glasgow.

Abada is a player that offers a great deal going forward by way of his raw ability to find attacking positions and capitalising. Celtic will need to cope without him as James Forrest, Daizen Maeda, Sead Haksabanovic and Jota will need to offer support in the wide areas.
