Lockdown With Larsson: Including Speech From Proper Royalty

If, like many of us, the Queen’s speech/statement, didn’t tickle your fancy last weekend – you may be interested to view a performance and emotional speech from real royalty in the shape of the King of Kings on Friday night.

BBC Scotland and the BBC Sport website will be showing extended highlights of Henrik Larsson’s last match at Celtic Park in 2004. The coverage starts at 7pm on Friday and reportedly includes the Swede’s farewell address to the Celtic faithful at full time.

Larsson, himself, scored a brace in the match, which ended in frantic fashion with a flurry of late goals for both Celtic and Dundee United.

The greatest striker to play in Scotland since James McGrory, then hit another two goals, a week later, as his Celtic side completed the domestic double.

Tune in to relive some great times supporting this wonderful club.
