Lost Connection – Green Brigade’s new banner protest

THE GREEN BRIGADE have issued a powerful statement, which is damning for the Club board. The Ultras released a statement on Twitter this evening with an updated banner, playing on the Zoom calls that have reportedly kept Lennon in a job.

In the last few weeks, Celtic have allowed Rangers to extend their lead to 11 points as well as exiting the Europa League and League Cup. The latter defeat resulted in supporters gathering at Celtic Park and some unsavoury scenes developed. Fans were aggrieved at the way the club were treating them and the silence after an embarrassing defeat, which took the run to just two wins in eleven games.

The supporters are calling for change through the major shareholder Dermot Desmond, CEO Peter Lawwell and manager Neil Lennon. All of which appear committed to taking the side forward under their stewardship even if the signs of turning around this season aren’t positive.

Supporters feel as if they are fans second, customers first and that their concerns are not heard or if they are, are ignored by the club.

  1. In a private company Lawell and Lennon would be sacked for incompetent behaviour but since Lawell is allowed too much influence and Input, both of them are fireproof.

  2. How dare these yobs display an offensive banner like this criticizing our esteemed board members. Real supporters will be enraged by this outlandish behaviour.
