Major boost for Celtic as Dominic McKay set for early arrival

Dominic McKay looks set to join Celtic three months earlier than expected, according to Record Sport. McKay was expected to replace Peter Lawwell in summer but with 6Nations over and a new management structure expected, with new manager Eddie Howe. With McKay already leaving for Celtic, the move would speed up the process of transition as the club look to herald in a new era of success.

The Stock Exchange could be informed as early as this week of the new change. This would be a huge boost for Celtic ahead of the massive summer of recruitment at the club.  Fergal Harkin and Eddie Howe are two of the favourites that supporters are looking out for to take up key positions at the club.

The SRU Chief is well renowned as a Communicator and Political operator within his role at Murrayfield meaning that supporters will expect a change in operations at Celtic Park.

McKay is set to inherit a colossal rebuilding job as a new era is heralded in with Lawwell and Lennon, two stalwarts at the club over the last two decades are departing. McKay will need to make sure that he retains a strong core of first team players and allows positive recruitment under a new DOF and to knock Rangers off their newly found perch.
