Man United pull out of chase for Celtic starlet but a Premier League transfer still looks incredibly likely

Celtic have done very well in poaching some talented youngsters from the English market, but we’ve also seen some of Celtic’s most talented youngsters move on in recent years.

The latest to leave could be young goalkeeper Vincent Angelini, and our colleagues at Stretty News have recently reported on the latest with his situation.

It’s confirmed that he’s rejected a new deal to stay at Celtic so it does look like he’s going to move on this summer, but Man United have withdrawn their previous interest so he’s unlikely to end up at Old Trafford.

Unfortunately there’s still plenty of Premier League interest, with Everton, Fulham, Brighton and Leeds United all being credited with an interest in the young stopper.

Interestingly it also sounds like a few Italian clubs are thought to be in the running, with Juventus being named as the most likely suitor if he decides to move abroad.

Angelini is incredibly highly rated at the club but he’s only 17, so it’s likely going to take a few years to see how he develops before deciding how big a blow it is to lose him.

There’s no sign of anything changing in regard to his Celtic future, and it’s expected that he’ll make a decision on his next club in the upcoming weeks.
