Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has said that Callum McGregor will return in two weeks. The Scottish Champions have been without their skipper since half time of the resounding win over Dundee with a calf/achilles injury.
There had been rumours that the skipper’s season would be over. However, speaking ahead of the meeting against St Johnstone, Rodgers said that the player will available in two weeks – meaning he is fit for the game at Ibrox.

Celtic need their strongest team available and if McGregor is back, along with the returning Reo Hatate and Cameron Carter-Vickers, the first team looks remarkably stronger. The manager’s update is a positive one for supporters, who had feared that the skipper would be unavailable for the meeting with Rangers on April 7th.
Elsewhere, Celtic will be without Luis Palma and Liam Scales for Saturday’s game. Scales has picked up a knock at training while the Honduran attacker being out for 3-4 weeks with a calf tear.
