Milan’s line-up intel for Celtic Park clash

AC MILAN could be set to shuffle the pack on Thursday’s Europa League opener at Celtic Park. Our friends at Sempre Milan posted an update about how Milan might line-up, their team believe that Stefano Piolo will ring changes in order to keep his league-topping side in their best possible shape.

The Rossoneri are unbeaten in twenty games and have won seven games out of seven so far in Serie A, where they sit top. Celtic’s current form might mean that Milan may be tempted to rest some of their stars at Celtic Park.

Their proposed line-up is below and is a weakened team, with Milan leaving out star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Hakan Calhanoglu, Kessie, Bennacer and Gianluigi Donnarumma. Like Celtic, Milan have had a hectic start to the season, compounded by their tiny pre-season. This means that there will certainly be a temptation to rotate players and given there will be no supporters in the stadium on Thursday, the temptation to risk players may not be as pressing.

Whether or not this is the right team remains to be seen but given Milan don’t have a leak in their dressing room, we will need to wait until the Italians release their team through official channels.
