Monday Night Football – Celtic confirm fixture amendment

CELTIC have confirmed that the home fixture versus Hibernian will be played on the 11th of January, kicking off at 7.45pm. The game was due to be played at 3pm on the Saturday (9th) but it appears that the game has been selected for TV.

This was not the announcement supporters were expecting today with news expected that Neil Lennon has been relieved of his duties. However, the wait goes on for some action by the spineless executives.

Over the last twenty years, Neil Lennon has won 20 major trophies between spells as player and manager. His commitment to the football club should not be understated and he should not have been exposed to the abuse directed his way in recent weeks. He has been hung out to dry by the club’s hierarchy, he wasn’t allowed his own staff and was allowed to fail without any regard for the damage it may have to his reputation.
