The Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst today ruled his striker Alfredo Morelos out of Sunday’s Glasgow Derby against Celtic at Ibrox and Sky Sport’s Alison Conroy has added to this injury update by stating that she understands that the Colombian striker will also miss the games against Braga and the Scottish Cup semi-final against Celtic at Hampden on Easter Sunday.
Other than a few goals behind closed doors Morelos has never really troubled a Celtic defence so it’s probably more of a big deal for them regarding the player missing the Europa Cup quarter final tie against Portuguese side Braga.
Ironically as the news is confirmed of a new injury to the Ibrox talisman by van Bronckhorst, Ange Postecoglou was able to confirm much better news for his supporters stating that Kyogo is fit and available for selection on Sunday.
Hear from both Ange Postecoglou, who today was named as the Scottish Premiership Manager of the Month for third month in a row and Giovanni Van Bronckhorst in the videos below…

A massive blow for Sevco. Er . . . remind me, just how many goals has he scored against Celtic in the last few years?
