Motherwell v Celtic: team news, kick off time and where to watch

Ange Postecoglou’s side return from the International Break to face Graham Alexander’s Motherwell. The ‘Well are flying high and sit fourth in the league but a win over Aberdeen at Pittodrie at the start of the month has suggested that Celtic have turned the corner on the road and are ready to surge up the table. With that said, it is likely that it will be a hard fought game today.

Team News

Celtic welcomed back Christopher Jullien to first team training but the Frenchman is likely a way away from being match fit to start. Jullien and James Forrest are back training but Mikey Johnston is now available this afternoon after a spell out. The winger will add some much needed depth in the wise areas for Ange. Croatian full-back Josip Juranovic won’t make the trip with it coming too soon after his hamstring strain against Dundee United.

There were no fresh injury concerns for the manager, something he said he was delighted about when he sat in front of the mainstream media yesterday.

Kick Off Time

Kick-off is at 3pm and there’s a PPV streaming service available from ppl.motherwellfc.co.uk for £12 (unfortunately excluding folks living in England).

Where to watch

The game will be shown on a PPV stream provided by Motherwell FC. Unfortunately, the hosts cut Celtic’s allocation so less away fans will be at the game than had been first hoped.
