Neil Lennon admits that he is looking to bring in one or two more players

Celtic’s transfer business has started to heat up recently. After a bland first few weeks of the transfer window that saw no one being brought in, the club have managed to complete two signings in quick succession.

Firstly, Patryk Klimala was brought in after the club decided to activate his €4-million release clause. And now Lennon has admitted that a deal for Ivory Coast midfielder, Ismaila Soro, has also been agreed. But that is not going to be the end of their transfer business according to the Celtic boss as a few more players might also be on their way to Parkhead this January.

Speaking with the Scottish Sun about the signing of Soro and possible future arrivals, the Celtic manager said:

“Soro is agreed and we are just waiting on the paperwork being confirmed. He is a little bull. He is strong, technically very good and quick across the ground, too.

“At 21, Soro has room for improvement but from what we’ve seen he looks a very good player. We’re looking to bring in one or two others as well.”

Celtic fans will be happy with the news. The Rangers have mounted a strong title challenge this season and it has been clear that the club need to bring in a number of players in this transfer window if they are to cope with their Glasgow rivals.
