Neil Lennon Hints At Minor Changes For Clyde Clash

Neil Lennon spoke to Celtic TV this afternoon, in an exclusive interview for the channel. The manager gave his media conference ahead of the weekend’s trip to League 1 Clyde, and suggested that whilst some players could do with game-time, he won’t be ringing the changes: “We will make a few changes I’m sure but not too many. You don’t want to overdo it, but there’s a few players bubbling under, the likes of Ryan (Christie) need a game and Elyounoussi could do with a game now that he’s coming back to fitness as well but we’ll still go strong.”

The Celtic boss was part of the team that were infamously beaten at Broadwood in 2006, thus it is unsurprising that he won’t be taking Clyde lightly: “Danny Lennon is technically astute and will come with a game plan. We’re the cup holders and want to defend the trophy vigorously. We’ll do everything we can to get to the next round,” he said.
