“No Celtic manager by next week I take manager’s job,” Bobo Balde

Bobo Balde has just about run out of patience with Celtic as they keep everyone waiting on the appointment of a new manager somewhere months after Neil Lennon left the club.

John Kennedy saw out a season to forget as interim manager as the weeks slipped past and we are now almost in June. By Tuesday we’ll be able to say Celtic’s Champions League qualifiers are NEXT MONTH.

So like many Celtic Supporters big Bobo has had enough of waiting around for news on the appointment and has declared on social media that if there is “no Celtic manager by next week I take manager’s job”.

Now the thought of having those players who let us down going into the dressing room after an other lacklustre performance to have the fierce figure of Bobo Balde waiting for them, or of the big man turning his attention to some of the hacks in the mainstream media after they go with some Celtic bashing story – as is their want – has a certain appeal, now that Bobo mentions it!

I remember being close to the action Lowe down in the front Free Broomloan and seeing the concern on Rangers players trying to man mark Balde – it was clear that none of them particularly fancied it, he was certainly an intimidating figure.

Hopefully Bobo can stand down shortly as Celtic say the appointment is ‘imminent’ but at least they now know that Bobo Balde is fed up waiting and you don’t want to make him angry!

  1. I’m calm ‘cos we’ve seen what happens to ‘Dream Teams’ before. Even with managers who have produced at the highest level involved. Not putting my mortgage on imminent success.
