Oasis superstar singles out Celtic midfielder for praise

SUPERSTAR Liam Gallagher has singled out Celtic’s Ryan Christie for praise after Scotland ended a 22-year wait for an appearance at a major tournament. The Former Oasis frontman Gallagher who is a well known Manchester City fan is also a Celtic supporter owing to his Irish connections and he shared a 6am Tweet to Christie, who’s goal put Scotland ahead in Belgrade.

Christie was emotional at full time, giving a very humble interview after the match in which he thanked the supporters and his teammates for sealing a historic win on penalties.

The rockstar picked up the interview of Christie and answered a supporter stating that this was the reason for his early morning tweet in support of the Celtic attacker. Celtic should use the wave of Christie and Scotland’s success to get Christie signed up on a new deal to carry on the good feeling amongst the Scotland continent and bring 10IAR back to Celtic.

Gallagher and his older brother Noel were made famous by Oasis and both have expressed their love for the Scottish Champions in the past.
