Celtic has confirmed that preparations are now underway for the new stadium banners at Celtic Park, with the previous banners being removed in the next few days…

The club shared details of the striking new banners with The Celtic Star and other fan media sites still working with the club on the fan media rota. These Celtic say, will provide a fantastic new makeover for the stadium and will also celebrate legendary players as well as the incredible Celtic support, without whom our achievements would not be possible.

Celtic’s record-breaking eight Trebles are showcased through key players and iconic moments from each winning season, with the likes of Henrik Larsson, Tom Rogic and Callum McGregor adorning the huge banners around the South West corner of Celtic Park.

At the opposite side of the stadium, we honour the most successful season ever in Celtic’s history, with every player in the 1966/67 squad named alongside their unique achievements, securing all five trophies they contested that season.
The 1967 crest is highlighted next to a panel inspired by the pennant exchanged before kick-off at the Estádio Nacional on that magical night in Lisbon, the crowning glory in a season never to be forgotten.

And as we look ahead to the 60th anniversary of the club’s greatest ever achievement, the immortal starting eleven from that match take pride of place, naturally, on the Lisbon Lions Stand named in their honour – each legend having a panel baring their image alongside their manager, Jock Stein will adorn the East end of the stadium.

We are proud to commemorate the Lions’ incredible feats of that famous season and have their iconic images displayed for all supporters and visitors to Celtic Park to admire upon arrival.
Last, but certainly not least, we also celebrate the magnificent Celtic support. The noise you bring to Paradise and the way you get behind the team is key to the Club’s success, and has cemented Celtic Park’s legendary reputation around the world for an atmosphere on matchdays that is second to none.

The sea of supporters holding their scarves high to a chorus of You’ll Never Walk Alone is a stunning image that rounds off the celebration of the Celtic family across the Jock Stein Stand.
These images are a sneak preview of the work which is to be carried out. The full set of banners is due to be completed within the next few weeks.

Well I hope them steel girders get a long overdue lick of paint before them banners go up?
Just build a new state the art stand that finishes a real symmetrical stadium with built in museum and hotel! While sort out the campus fmwe have plenty land to provide facilities for all fans and visitors!! It’s our club so show us you realise that! Tho it’s going to big changes with that board before anything changes! Unless Desmond actually starts yo care!
Actually starts to care even. If it was done correctly and symmetrical it comes up to 72,000 seats approciately do it!! We have the capital to get ball rolling no more bs! ” if we join English league” Never ging happen and its insulting our intelligence those days are gone it’s our club gives us the best facilities possible as we won’t spend on the team invest in our ground and campus
Our future since the Huns died was in Europe , the way this new CL format is unfolding / growing .
Liewell has taken millions from the club , winning domestic trophies with no real competition.
We should consistently be in the top 16/8 in the CL if Liewell had done his job .
Ffs why won’t they paint* the steel supports? They are rusting and dirty – a low cost (hear that PLC?) way of giving a lift to the exterior
(*I have a radical idea of doing them green and white alternatively)
