On This Day: Happy Birthday to Celtic legend Tom Rogic

Happy Birthday to Celtic legend Tom Rogic, who turns 31 today. The Australian retired from football earlier this year after leaving West Brom in the summer as he looks to focus his efforts on parenthood, with his wife expecting twins early next year.

The Wizard of Oz was a big game player, he was able to turn games with a flick of the switch. This season especially, he has been brilliant. His late assist in Dingwall stands out. The player was able to make a decision about his future and it is telling that Celtic have respected this wish as the player looks to take his next step after Paradise.

Rogic was signed for just $400k Australian dollars and has proven to be priceless, conjuring up some incredible moments in his time with the club. In 272 appearances, Tam has scored 46 times and assisted 49 times in his time at the club but brings so much to the team, bringing the best out in his teammates. With 17 major trophies from his time at Celtic, it is fair to say that Rogic was well worth the fee paid to Central Coast Mariners.

Happy Birthday Aussie Tam.
