One Of The Great Celtic Pictures Is Now A Decade Old

It’s incredible to think that 10 years have now elapsed since Celtic’s Halloween trip to Perth, when the Hoops brushed aside St Johnstone by three goals to nil.

A brace from Niall McGinn and a goal from Emilio Izaguirre secured victory, but the real talking point was the fancy dress in the stands… culimating in that hilarious moment when Izzy was celebrating with an exuberant Celtic supporter wearing a morph suit. Fortunately the cameras were on hand to capture the moment. It will be a wonderful resource for historians of the future to look back on, no doubt perplexed, in 100 years time!
