Diego Laxalt had a stormer last night. He’s made a solid start to his Celtic career, but that was his bets performance yet. The full back made 13 tackles, a Europa League record, along with four interceptions. His determination and intensity was infectious and he also linked up well with Elyounoussi down the left side.
BT Sport have subsequently uploaded a video showing every tackle and interception made by the Uruguayan in Lille. It looks like we have a real player on our hands:

Astonishingly, Laxalt is yet to taste victory in the hoops. Let’s hope he can achieve that on Sunday – with this kind of form there’s every chance.
