Online Raffle Raises £220 For Kano Foundation In Under Eight Hours

An online raffle was launched at 8am yesterday morning to assist the Kano Foundation in their appeal to raise funds for renewing season tickets at Celtic Park next season.

67 numbers were made available and were snapped up before 4pm, as the Celtic support’s generous donations raised over £220 for the charity.

Prizes ranged from a Celtic book bundle to an autographed Billy McNeill print, whilst The Celtic Star’s very own publication (Walfrid & The Bould Bhoys) was also offered up to one lucky winner.

The PayPal money pool remains open until 28 February for those who wish to make a donation. Every penny will be sent to the Kano Foundation, who will utilise the funds to renew some of the 134 child and 35 adult season books.
