Outstanding Irish Singer To Go Live On Celtic Page At 7pm In Bid For Patient Supplies

Professional Irish folk musician, Raymond Coleman, hails from Co Tyrone and like many Irishmen before him, he now lives in Philadelphia.

Inspired by his favourite musicians – Finbar Furey, Christy Moore & Christy Hennessy – Raymond plays a unique mixture folk songs and ballads. Unsurprisingly, his unique voice and hilarious story telling between songs, has made him a big name in the Irish American music scene and tonight he brings his incredible talents to Glasgow on the Kelly’s Glasgow City Facebook page at 7pm (2pm Philadelphia time).

Raymond has kindly offered to perform the hour long gig in aid of the Patient Supplies Drive for Bournemouth & Poole Hospital, with all funds raised being donated towards the project, which will in turn be used to purchase colouring books, activity packs, jigsaws and magazines for children at Bournemouth Hospital who cannot have parents stay with them at the moment. (A link will be attached to the live video for people to donate to the gofundme page should they wish to do so)

Raymond has played festivals all over America and in Ireland. He recently appeared on the Joanie Madden folk n Irish Cruise & Cleveland Irish cultural festival Ohio. You can enjoy a sample of some of his performances below:

Kelly’s Glasgow City is the Facebook page of Kelly’s Irish Bar on Howard Street (Glasgow). It is a very popular Celtic pub with singers regularly performing songs of Ireland and Celtic Football Club. We thank them and Raymond for upholding the charitable values of Celtic and would urge you to tune in for an hour of truly superb music, with any donations very much appreciated.

In the meantime, you can check out Raymond’s website here to sample some of his fantastic ballads.
