Celtic have handed Adam Idah the No.9 jersey following his move from Norwich City. The Irish striker has signed on a deal until the end of the season and will be looking to use his time in Glasgow to help fire Celtic towards a League and Cup double.

The club have decided to give the player the No.9 jersey that was vacated by Sead Haksabanovic when he moved to Stoke City in August on loan.

Idah will join up with the Scottish Champions ahead of their trip to face Aberdeen on Saturday. Brendan Rodgers’ side face the managerless Dons in the early kick-off on Saturday at Pittodrie – the kind of fixture suited to 6ft3 Idah.

  1. Let’s hope there are some potential first team players at the Academy, because these last two transfer windows have not exactly been ‘inspiring’.
Let’s also hope that these penny pinching board members haven’t given ‘them’ a huge confidence boost to nick the league title and the insane amount of money from next year’s European competition.
    Very worrying!

  2. Fingers crossed that the bhoy comes good. Not a signin on anyone’s radar, but .. he is a Celtic fan. He is a 1st choice full international player who has scored 3 goals for RoI in the past 6 months. One of those a penalty to put RoI 1-0 up v Holland, no less & THAT takes balls!

I’m sure we’ll all back him to dae well. Hopefully be a Gary Hooper type surprise as he was bought fae feckin Scunthorpe in the Championship .. & look how well he turned oot!

Back the team, sack the Board. Get Liewell tae feck!
