Signed from Motherwell in 2020, Turnbull won Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year in his debut season as Celtic toiled.
The midfielder made 134 appearances for the club, scoring 31 goals and assisting on 23 occasions. Appearances and first team opportunities were limited due to impressive displays from teammates. However, The Bull leaves with two League Cups, two Scottish Cups and two Leagues.
Best of luck, David.
Seriously underrated player, least he won’t have to listen to the boo-boys any longer, hope he’s appreciated now & makes a name for himself down there.
Best of luck to David, he wants to play regular first team football and wasn’t able to get that at Celtic. He’d become a want away so best outcome for everyone. Hope he does well down at Cardiff.
And the player coming the other way has a poorer goal and return assist on average. Great business from the Celts as usual.
