Adidas appear to have revealed Celtic’s Spezial sweatshirt before the official launch date next week…
Before the win over Motherwell, supporters will have noticed the Spezial logo on the big screens along with the 16th October launch date.
However, adidas appear to have jumped the gun by adding the Celtic Spezial sweatshirt to their website.
The white sweatshirt features the Spezial logo in green along with the Celtic logo.
Adidas and Celtic have enjoyed a successful relationship since partnering up in 2020. This year, Celtic became an Elite club which entitles the Scottish Champions to more limited editions from the kit manufacturers.
It remains to be seen whether the club will enjoy the continued success from sales given an approach by supporters to push for change at an executive level.
Given the incredible investment from supporters into the merchandise, tickets and everything over the years, it would surely make sense for the Celtic Board to continue with their toe in the water approach last Monday night to properly engage with the support and work together to create a better version of Celtic going forward.
There’s so much that the Celtic support can bring to the table to make this happen so it makes perfect sense for more fan engagement to happen and for the club to be less defensive and much more open to ideas and opportunities that the fans can bring to the table.
