Celtic’s Ismaila Soro has been included in the SPFL Team of the Week after an impressive performance in the heart of the Celtic midfield in the win over Hamilton Accies on Boxing Day.
The Ivorian defensive midfielder has impressed since coming into the first team picture by adding steel and determination in the middle of the park whilst keeping captain Scott Brown out of the starting XI.

Soro will be hoping to start in the game against Dundee United tomorrow with a view to convincing the manager that he has the ability to start at Ibrox and influence the game. Brown will likely point to the first half against Hearts in which he dominated the midfield as evidence that he can still be effective for the team.
