Photo: Celtic star misses post-match celebrations with routine drugs test

RYAN CHRISTIE was Scotland’s star man in the penalties win over Serbia to book a place at the Euros next summer. However, the Celtic midfielder was selected alongside John McGinn for the routine drugs test at full-time to make sure neither player was doped up. The Serbian and UEFA officials were probably astonished at how much running the pair did over the piece meaning they missed celebrations whilst their teammates dancing in the dressing room.

The pair will have likely joined in afterwards but they missed out on the classic as the players celebrated another penalties win. Well done Scotland!
