Photo: Duffy makes poignant dedication after debut goal for Celtic

SHANE DUFFY scored his first goal for Celtic since joining last week. The Irishman was making his debut in Dingwall as Neil Lennon’s men faced Ross County. Duffy rose to meet a Callum McGregor corner to make it 3-0 and he thundered home a header, knocking Christopher Jullien over in the process.

Duffy took to social media to convey his delight at the goal but also to pay a poignant tribute to his late father.

The 5-0 win in the Highlands will stand the Scottish Champions in good stead ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Paisley to face St Mirren.
