Photo: Ex-Celtic boss makes brilliant BLM gesture

RONNY DEILA was well liked during his time at the Scottish Champions. Even now, many supporters still keep an eye on his career to see how he is getting on. The Norwegian spent two years at the helm of the Parkhead club before stepping down, winning three trophies. Deila is currently the manager of New York City FC and was today pictured taking part in the Black Lives Matter campaign on the touchline.

Deila’s side were playing Philadelphia in the MLS and Deila sported a t-shirt supporting the brilliant cause. One Twitter user captured Deila on the sidelines as the game went on as the Norwegian took part in the civil rights movement.

Hopefully when Celtic return to action, the players and club can support the message that any form of prejudice is not welcome in society.
