Photo: Green Brigade target Desmond in latest display against board

The Green Brigade are continuing their protests against the club’s hierarchy with a banner detailing 101 Days since Neil Lennon left the club. The Irishman resigned in February and after a very public failed pursuit of Englishman Eddie Howe, the club still have not hired a new boss.

Today, they unveiled a banner targeting major shareholder Dermot Desmond, who is allowing this shambles to unravel without taking any real action. Yesterday, they targeted outgoing CEO, Peter Lawwell, as the supporters group rightly bemoan the lack of planning ahead of the new season.

Ange Postecoglou is expected to become the next manager of the club but the 55-year-old Australian is arriving into a baptism of fire with the fans and club still at odds with each other. The Australian will have the support of the majority of the fans but a large number are utterly dismayed with the way that the football club have behaved in the last year.
