Today’s photo of the day is one to ease fans through the international break by celebrating all that is good about Celtic Football Club.

The featured image is instantly recognisable, showing thousands of Celtic supporters wearing green and white hoops inside the Estadio Olimpico in Seville. Needless to say the occasion was the UEFA Cup Final, which ended in heartache, but Spain will never forget the vista of 80,000 fervent Celtic fans descending on the Andalusian city.

What a sight!

    Just to be there was a privilige and an honour. One of the greatest days of my football life and so proud of what it meant to be a Celtic fan that day. Cost me a fortune but memories will never fade.

    I totally agree with you Neil being in Seville with 80 000 other celts was amazing. I was a baby at time of lisbon and 4 when we got to Milan in 70 but to watch Celtic in a European final was something that i never thought I would see. The love and pride we have for our team will stand the test of time. HH
