Photo Of The Day: Celtic Fans At Norwich (Adam Drury Testimonial)

Today’s photo of the day comes from Adam Drury’s Testimonial between Norwich City and Celtic at Carrow Road in 2012. A sold out away end was raucous throughout, chanting “Don’t Sell McCourt, Paddy McCourt…”

The atmosphere was tremendous on that balmy summer’s evening and both sets of fans had mingled on the surrounding streets before the game. The match also saw the meeting of two Celtic stalwarts – Neil Lennon (then Celtic manager) and Paul Lambert (then Norwich manager). The pair embraced before kick off.

However, our photo for this feature is an image of the Celtic support performing the huddle. It blew the home fans away.

Norwich won the game by two goals to nil and both sets of fans chanted “There’s only one Adam Drury,” followed by “One Paul Lambert,” at full time. It was a great occasion.
