Photo Of The Day: Celtic Fans Find Inventive Ways To Watch The First Game Back At Paradise

Today’s photo of the day goes back to August 1995, when Celtic returned to Paradise for the first time since the ground was redeveloped.

Fans were impressed by the towering structure of the North Stand, whilst the empty spaces behind each goal provided some supporters with an opportunity to view the match from an interesting vantage point!

Celtic drew the game (against Newcastle United) 1-1, goals coming from John Collins (penalty) and Les Ferdinand.

For many, it was a wonderful taste of home again. Although, David Ginola will have less fond recollections of the afternoon as he was booed throughout, having rejected the Hoops for a move to Teeside.
