Remember we warned Ange? This is what Celtic are up against this season…

After Bobby Madden and his somewhat dubious display at Pittodrie today, where he awarded Aberdeen 27 fouls in their favour, a certain Ibrox club have just been gifted a disgraceful decision that helped them maintain their six point lead over Celtic.

We always knew the odds were stacked against us this year – but really? After we got the job done and “won ugly”, the footballing authorities have moved the goalposts again. I’m sure this has nothing to do with another club in the South Side treading water from refusing to live within their means.

Hibernian have been reduced to ten men, after a Ryan Porteous challenge on Joe Aribo – one in which he actually wins the ball. A routine challenge and a red card. Have they got it in for us or what?

Watch this disgraceful display of refereeing below…

Oh, and while we’re at it, look at the stats for fouls for and against Celtic this season, in comparison with the possession stats. Remarkable. Those numbers just don’t add up, pit no-one warned Ange Postecoglou about this sort of thing, except of course The Celtic Star…

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.

  1. And you forget to mention the tackle on kyogo at ibrox by the keeper it was a penalty all day long but I can’t blame anyone for missing it as the broadcaster refuse to discuss these incidents or show reruns.

What does our board do about it, absolutely nothing. Scottish football is fixed. I’ve supported Celtic for over 70 years and instead of things getting better I believe things are worse than ever. Big Jock used to say Celtic had to be at least 2 goals better than The Rangers to make up for the honest mistakes. Nowadays I think we would have to be 3 goals better. The Rangers can win the league with very ordinary teams we never win the league with an ordinary team.
