Today’s photo of the day is an iconic, invincible, irreplaceable one.
It shows the Green Brigade’s May 2018 tribute to Club Captain Scott Brown, who is one of Celtic’s most decorated players and captains of all time. At the time he had just been named Scottish Writers’ Player of the Year, and had captained Celtic to five successive trophies (it would go on to be 12 in a row).

Despite those words and that tribute, Callum McGregor has done a great job of filling Broony’s shoes.
