Photo Of The Day: Neil Lennon Celebrates In Front Of The Celtic Support In Rome

Fittingly, today’s photo of the day shows Neil Lennon enjoying possibly the best moment of his second managerial stint at the club.

Celtic beat Lazio in Rome just over a year ago. A last minute goal from Olivier Ntcham gave the Bhoys their first ever win on Italian soil and ensured that Celtic qualified for the knockout stages as group toppers. It was an incredible night as close to 10,000 Celtic fans belted out Papa Francesco Ale in the Stadio Olimpico, whilst Neil Lennon saluted the supporters in celebration.

It’s hard to believe how quickly things turned. Lennon went from hero to zero in a matter of months and ultimately announced his resignation this morning. However, he will always have nights like these to look back on.
